"I have three German Shepherd Dogs and I know they are not the easiest breed to handle. I had not been able to find a Pet Care service that could make me comfortable (and I have had several) until I met Maria and Stephanie from Hound & Country. They came to my home to meet my pets and interview me. They asked about our routines, likes and dislikes. The described the way they work and then proposed how they would handle my dogs. I was impressed from that moment forward.

They are professional, dependable, reliable and most importantly, the dogs adore them. They are very accommodating, easy to work with and their prices are more than reasonable.

The pups look forward to their visits and I finally have people that I can leave my dogs with without a worry. I highly recommend them!"

Stephanie Angelini and Maria Angelini-Mangos are two sisters who decided to leave the film industry behind to follow their true dream- taking care of your pets! Even as they were working as Script Supervisors and on the sets of such networks as the Travel Channel and A&E, at home they were training their shelter pup, Rusty, and reading book after book on animal behaviorism and dog psychology.

As lifelong dog owners and lovers of all things nature, opening Hound and Country Pet Care is a dream come true. They are honored to care for your pets and consider it to be a privilege.

We know that your pets are members of your family- let our family take care of yours!

THE HOUND & COUNTRY PET CARE TEAM!

Ruth L.

Hi!  My name is Ruth Lyman and
I live in Danvers.  I’m a stay at home mother of two fantastic girls (ages 5 and 9) who also cares for a 16 year old cat (Bijou) and a 1 year old guinea pig, Brownie.  I recently had the pleasure of adding a sweet Chihuahua-Papillion doggie, Moose, to the menagerie. I am a total animal lover who can’t imagine a home without pets.  I truly believe that companion animals make a house a home.  My family is settled in Danvers and plans to stay here forever.  Beyond my family and pets, I am a runner and completed my first marathon in October 2013.  I’m taking a break from training for now, but I am still passionate about health and fitness. I am so excited to be working for Hound and Country Pet Care!  It combines my passion for animals, the great outdoors and exercise just perfectly.    I look forward to really getting to know your pets and providing them with lots
of love, care and attention (and PLENTY of exercise!)

Janice B.

Hi my name is Janice and I live in Peabody! I am a proud mom of two boys and have a 16 year old chihuahua we rescued from Puerto Rico. (Save a SATO)  Our dog is the light of our lives! At 16 she is so young at heart and still loves her walks, car rides and playtime. Her name is Chela which means comforting and consoling. I believe the name fits her just right, as we feel the same love for her. My heart is and always has been open to share this kind of compassion for other animals.  Besides being a mom and dog lover, I am an active person who enjoys sports and being outdoors. I am so excited to be a part of the Hound & Country Pet Care Team to provide your pet with the love and care they deserve.

Kelly R.

Hi my name is Kelly! I live in Manchester, MA and am a Northeastern University student majoring in Psychology. I participated in a spring break program volunteering at Best Friends Animal Society in Utah where I had the chance to work with a variety of animals, including the rescued "Vicktory" fighting dogs! My family has one cat and two dogs (a Puggle and a Pomeranian). I love working with animals and am so excited to join the Hound & Country Pet Care Team!

Maria I.

Hi folks! My name is Maria; I live in Beverly. I am a recent Gordon grad and I also work at ThinkGeek.  I grew up with three horses, two cats and a dog. Since college I’ve been missing the companionship of animals, in my travels I always make friends with the local animals. The dog in my picture lives in India. I nicknamed him Frankenweenie because at the time he had several stitches on his body.  I look forward to meeting all of your fur babies, and taking the best care of them possible!

Rebekah G.

Hi there! My name is Rebekah and I live in Wakefield with my terrier-mutt named Finnegan and my fiancé! I have lived in MA for eight years, and since moving here have been a dog walker and sitter for many families on the North Shore for all types of pets. I work as a trauma-focused therapist, and Finnegan is working to become a therapy dog to help me support my clients. Studies show an amazing correlation between mental health and the love of a pet! I know how hard it is to leave your pup at home while being away; I am here to make sure your pets are fed, walked, cuddled and loved! I am excited to join the Hound and Country Pet Care Team!

Madison B.

I've had a strong passion for animals of all kinds since I was very young and my love has only continued to grow. They are an absolute joy to me and do not fail to put a smile on my face! I love being healthy and staying active, which I believe is just as important for the animals. My ultimate goal is to provide a safe, happy, and positive experience for pets and their owners.
