"I have three German Shepherd Dogs and I know they are not the easiest breed to handle. I had not been able to find a Pet Care service that could make me comfortable (and I have had several) until I met Maria and Stephanie from Hound & Country. They came to my home to meet my pets and interview me. They asked about our routines, likes and dislikes. The described the way they work and then proposed how they would handle my dogs. I was impressed from that moment forward.

They are professional, dependable, reliable and most importantly, the dogs adore them. They are very accommodating, easy to work with and their prices are more than reasonable.

The pups look forward to their visits and I finally have people that I can leave my dogs with without a worry. I highly recommend them!"  ~ Stephanie C. (client; references available)
Stephanie Angelini and Maria Angelini-Mangos are two sisters who decided to leave the film industry behind to follow their true dream- taking care of your pets! Even as they were working as Script Supervisors and on the sets of such networks as the Travel Channel and A&E, at home they were training their shelter pup, Rusty, and reading book after book on animal behaviorism and dog psychology.

As lifelong dog owners and lovers of all things nature, opening Hound and Country Pet Care is a dream come true. They are honored to care for your pets and consider it to be a privilege.

We know that your pets are members of your family- let our family take care of yours!

Ruth L.

Hi!  My name is Ruth Lyman and
I live in Danvers.  I’m a stay at home mother of two fantastic girls (ages 5 and 9) who also cares for a 16 year old cat (Bijou) and a 1 year old guinea pig, Brownie.  I recently had the pleasure of adding a sweet Chihuahua-Papillion doggie, Moose, to the menagerie. I am a total animal lover who can’t imagine a home without pets.  I truly believe that companion animals make a house a home.  My family is settled in Danvers and plans to stay here forever.  Beyond my family and pets, I am a runner and completed my first marathon in October 2013.  I’m taking a break from training for now, but I am still passionate about health and fitness. I am so excited to be working for Hound and Country Pet Care!  It combines my passion for animals, the great outdoors and exercise just perfectly.    I look forward to really getting to know your pets and providing them with lots
of love, care and attention (and PLENTY of exercise!)

Michaela M.

Hello my name is Michaela! I’m from Beverly! My whole life I’ve always had such a strong love for animals. I grew up with so many cats and dogs around me, whether they belonged to family or friends, so it’s all I know. Having a job revolving around such loves is amazing! Animals bring me so much happiness and joy, and my goal is to bring the same thing to them(:

Rebekah G.

Hi there! My name is Rebekah and I live in Wakefield with my terrier-mutt named Finnegan and my fiancé! I have lived in MA for eight years, and since moving here have been a dog walker and sitter for many families on the North Shore for all types of pets. I work as a trauma-focused therapist, and Finnegan is working to become a therapy dog to help me support my clients. Studies show an amazing correlation between mental health and the love of a pet! I know how hard it is to leave your pup at home while being away; I am here to make sure your pets are fed, walked, cuddled and loved! I am excited to join the Hound and Country Pet Care Team!

Sherri B.

Hi! My name is Sherri and I live in Danvers. I work at MGH. I have always had pets, including dogs, cats and fish!

I can not imagine coming home and not being greeted with kisses and unconditional love. I  am looking forward to meeting  your pets and shower them with love and attention and plenty of exercise.

Jen B.

Hi! My name is Jen and I live in Danvers! I have many years of professional and personal dog care experience. After recently making a career change to a hospital setting, I realized I truly missed working with animals, especially dogs. Hound & Country has graciously allowed me to join their team part time, so I can get back to working with those who have a special place in my heart. I have always been an animal lover and I am truly overjoyed to be a part of the Hound & Country team! I look forward to providing the utmost safe, reliable, loving care to your furry friends!

Hi! I'm Natalie, and I'm currently an accounting student at Salem State University! I am also on the Womens Basketball team. This is me and my dog Lizzie at Singing Beach! I love dogs, but cats always have the way to my heart (I have 3 at home). Making animals happy and caring for them is one of my favorite things to do, as they deserve so much love and care!! I'm super excited to care for your pets and give them extra love!

Recently graduating with a Communication Arts degree and theatre minor, I now live in Beverly and work around the North Shore. I enjoy finding the beauty in nature, a wide range of art forms, singing and dancing, just being zany, and animals of all kinds. I’ve had my darling, toy poodle Bella for three years now and I know how important it is to have someone you trust, pays attention to detail, and will take the time to know each unique personality. Growing up with dogs all around me, I am very comfortable with interpreting their body language in order to meet their needs. I look forward to caring for the furry members of your family
