The Team
Liv Pelletier - Events & Planning, Social Media & Team Manager
Hi! I’m Liv, I am a student at Salem State University and studying Education and Psychology to become a School Counselor! I have two dogs named Peanut and Granger, who I absolutely adore. I love walking and hiking (especially with an extra furry friend by my side!). My favorite breed is a Golden Retriever! I love working at H&C to help make families feel at ease when they are away from their furry (or scaly) friends, because I know I would want to feel the same way leaving my pups!
Megan Kain - Scheduling, Billing, and Training Manager
Hi! I'm Megan, and I have been with H&C for over 5 years now! I recently graduated from University of New England with my masters in Occupational Therapy. My favorite things about working at H&C are taking the cutest pictures, and getting all the snuggles!
Ruth Lyman - Team Manager
I’m a mom of two teenage girls, a chihuahua-mix boy, and a calico girl cat! Being outdoors every day(yes, even in inclement weather) and hanging out with furry friends is just the best job there is.
Natalie Mellinger - Team Manager
Hi, I'm Natalie and i've been with Hound and Country on and off since 2018! I started with H&C during college at Salem State, and now I work part time to see all of my favorite dogs and cats on the weekends and nights after my job in Corporate America. I loves animals so much and it helps with my stress from my full time job!
Emma Rand
Hi my name is Emma or Em! I am a college student attending Bridgewater State University who has always loved animals. I got my first dog this summer and have owned a cat for a few years now. This job genuinely changes my mood to the happiest! Taking care of these fur babies makes my day! I am currently studying exercise physiology and have always had a love for
health and fitness.
Sherri B
Hi! My name is Sherri and I live in Danvers. I work at MGH. I have always had pets, including dogs, cats and fish!
I can not imagine coming home and not being greeted with kisses and unconditional love. I am looking forward to meeting your pets and shower them with love and attention and plenty of exercise.
Jillian Pelletier
I’ve grown up with animals my entire life and am planning on becoming a veterinarian when I graduate from college, so this is an amazing opportunity to do what I love! My favorite days are when I get to be surrounded by animals!
Beth R
Hey! I'm Beth! What I love about working for H&C is the freedom to manage my time and the fact that I'm outside getting exercise while spending time with sweet dogs.
Jobeth Abreu
Hi everyone! My names Jobeth but I also go by Jo. I have a 16 year old Corgi/Pug mix and two beautiful cats of my own! I have been in the animal care industry for 8 years now and have loved every minute of it. Ever since my first day I knew I would work with animals my entire life. No matter the day or the weather, they bring me joy and happiness without fail. Ensuring a safe, fun, trusting environment for your pets is always my goal! I look forward to meeting you and your pet family soon!
Melany Calder
Hi! My name is Melany. Alongside, my career as a stay-at-home mum to two children I am a new and enthusiastic dog caretaker with Hound & Country.
I have really enjoyed all of the dog personalities that I have had the pleasure of meeting! So much so that I question why I have human friends at all!?
Nicole Palmer
Hi, my name is Nicole/ Nikki. I am a mom of two daughters and two dogs. I grew up with a huge love for animals, and went to Essex tech/ formerly Essex Aggie for Dog grooming and animal science. I have a history of working in a vet clinic and dog grooming salons.
I love that with H&C, everyone loves and cares for each animal in their care as if they were their own. I also love that I get to help ensure your family pets are safe, secure, and happy while in my care. It has always been a struggle of mine to leave my own dogs in anyone else’s care, so I love being able to be part of putting other families at ease, knowing their pets are safe and happy in their absence, and am honored to have the opportunity to do so.
Maureen Gauthier
My name is Maureen Gauthier “Mo”
I retired after 22 yrs as a supervisor for Delta Air Lines customer service. That’s why I wear a tee shirt that says “More dogs, less people"! I have been with H&C since Jan 2021. I currently take care of my 20 month old granddaughter full time. When I get time off from her, I LOVE spending time with my furry friends. I’m also an avid pickleball player in my free time.
